What You'll Do as a Brake Press Operator:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components
- Load materials and tooling and ensure proper machine calibration
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools to verify quality standards
- Monitor production, troubleshoot minor machine issues, and maintain workflow
- Record production data and complete required documentation in Epicor
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
What You Need to Bring to the Brake Press Operator Role:
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to read, write, and understand English work instructions
- Previous brake press experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
