We are looking for candidates for Assembler roles on the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm Mon thru Thurs). Compensation for this opportunity is between $18.00-$22.00 per hour. Interested? What an Assembler will do:
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine assembly instructions
- Assemble sheet metal components using various hand and power tools
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet company standards
- Operate equipment such as presses, drills, and fasteners
- Construct Crates for Finished product utilizing radial saws, drills, screw guns, staplers, etc.
- Package products into crates to ensure damage-free transport
- Ensure that all packaging slip paperwork is filled out accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
What you need to be an Assembler:
- Must have at least 6 months experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field within the last year
- Must have experince working with power tools
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must have ability to follow written blueprint instructions or process sheets
- Must have written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be able to work overtime on Friday's as needed
- Must be a self-starter with good communication skills
- Must have history of good attendance
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on occasion with or without reasonable accommodations
