What You'll Do as the Assembler:
- Wind stators and rotors according to engineering specifications and documented procedures
- Perform layout operations based on armature winding specifications and engineering instructions
- Assemble temperature‑sensing devices and insert/measure/configure slot insulation per process requirements
- Braze or solder electrical connections using torches, solder irons, tinning pots, or induction brazing equipment
- Lay out and connect phase groups and sample coils; perform related forming, taping, sanding, and painting tasks
- Perform in‑process electrical testing and assist with final inspection of stators or rotors
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, processes, and bills of materials
- Support Continuous Improvement efforts and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- High school diploma required; 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to obtain certification for overhead crane, jib crane, and forklift operation
- Math skills sufficient to compute cross‑sectional areas for wire splices
- Ability to routinely lift/move up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to frequently climb ladders/stairs and occasionally work at heights or in tight or confined spaces
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive hand/wrist motions
- Ability to move between workstations and position oneself as needed to complete tasks
- Willingness to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toe shoes, hearing protection, etc.)
