Are you a welder with precision and dedication to your craft? Doherty Staffing is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company located in the Alexandria, MN area. We are seeking candidates for Welder roles on the 2nd or weekend shift. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $23.00-$28.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you will do as a Welder:
  • Perform MIG welding on mild steel, working with materials from 20 gauge to 1-inch thickness
  • Create high-quality products based on detailed work instructions and specifications
  • Obtain certifications relevant to your role, including D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW
  • Interpret welding symbols and blueprints to ensure accurate setups and welds
  • Use metal finishing tools such as grinders and abrasives to meet our quality standards
  • Safely operate lifting devices, including cranes, positioners, and other control devices, following all safety protocols

What you need to be a Welder:
  • 1+ year of MIG welding experience
  • 1+ year of experience in general fabrication
  • Ability to read AWA Weld symbols and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A steady hand
  • A passion for precision in welding
