What You’ll Do as a Production Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities across assembly, fabrication, paint line, and welding departments
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Review production schedules, labor hours, and time records to meet shipping deadlines
- Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment, and processes
- Support employee training, performance management, and disciplinary actions as needed
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Lead shop meetings and complete required daily, weekly, and monthly 5S tasks
What You Need to Bring to the Production Supervisor Role:
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lead teams and resolve production or personnel issues effectively
- Understanding of shop math, blueprint interpretation, and production workflows
- Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Dynamics AX or D365 preferred)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and mentor employees
- Reliable attendance for a Monday–Thursday evening schedule
