Job Description
Bring your welding skills to this role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading safety solutions company in Woodbury, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Welder roles to work 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $52,000-$58,240 annually. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you’ll do as a Welder:
- Complete the welding of various components (steel and stainless steel)
- Operate various power and machining tools to shape materials accurately
- Assemble various components as designed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with associates and management
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to be a Welder:
- 1+ years of experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Experience with power and machine tools (drill press, chop saw, bandsaw, grinder, shear, break, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand various measuring devices (tape measure, caliper, etc.)
- Aptitude to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues as they arise
- Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.), certification NOT required
- Strong ability to self-manage workload and adjust priorities based on changing circumstances
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
