Job Description
Enjoy a 4-day workweek with this welding job near Grand Forks! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in East Grand Forks, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Welder Fabricator position on 1st shift. This daytime job will work from 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Thursday. Compensation for this contract opportunity is $25.00 per hour.
What you'll do as the Welder Fabricator:

What you'll do as the Welder Fabricator:
- Perform various welding techniques including GMAW - MIG
- Operate Plasma cutting equipment
- Utilize Oxy-acetylene cutting and Shear cutting methods
- Handle press brake operations
- Complete material handling
- Operate drill press and hand tools including, grinders, cut-off tools and saws
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Pass pre-employment weld test (MIG-Down, Horizontal, Overhead)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to read a tape measure
