Job Description
Are you an experienced Welder? Check out this new role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading company located in Mankato, MN. We are seeking candidates for Welder roles on the 2nd shift. Hours for this shift are from 4:30 pm-3:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with the opportunity for overtime on Friday. What you will do as a Welder:
- Work with the area lead to complete welding assignments and meet production timelines
- Ensure department standards and schedules are met
- Review and understand project specifications
- Perform quality assurance checks throughout processes
What you need to be a Welder:
- 2+ years of experience in a fabrication environment, including drilling, welding, and various hand tools preferred
- Ability to use handheld measuring tools such as tape measure, combination square, and other measuring instruments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently with or without reasonable accommodations
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to execute SOP, quality, and safety practices
- Ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly
- Ability to prioritize and manage workflow effectively to accomplish deadlines
