Job Description
Trade up your current welding position for this opportunity in the Wahpeton area! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company just 20 minutes South of Wahpeton, ND. We are seeking candidates for Welder roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $22.00-$28.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you will do as a Welder:
- Practice and promote a safe work environment throughout the entire facility
- Read and interpret customer blueprint specifications to understand product requirements
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Weld components efficiently and safely using various welding equipment
- Perform MIG, TIG, and other types of welds based on project needs
- Conduct all processes and procedures in accordance with department key measures
- Ensure all quality practices are being followed accurately and efficiently
- Read and analyze customer blueprint specifications to understand product requirements
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment in order to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
- De-bur and grind components as needed to achieve precise surface texture
What you need to be a Welder:
- High School diploma or equivalent degree
- 1+ years of steel welding experience
- Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specifications
- Ability to obtain welding certifications as needed
- Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated area
- Strong coordination and judgment skills
- Basic math skills
