What a Welder will do:
- Operate various types of welding tools and various hand tools
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and heat numbers, if applicable
- Follow and understand standard work, training guides, weld procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements
- Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
- Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you collaborate with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
- Help the company meet its Quality and Safety objectives
- High school diploma or GED
- Some welding experience is preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment #WorkNow
