Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Welder roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $20.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below!
What you will do as a Welder:
What you will do as a Welder:
- Create quality welds according to blueprints
- Prepare products to be welded steel/aluminum parts
- Inspect welds for accuracy
- Change wire and perform welding, as needed
- Change gas tanks, as needed
- Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use
- Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required
- Perform simple maintenance and repair as required
- Receive work orders from the production manager
- Notify the production manager of any unusual problems or concerns
- 1+ years of welding experience preferred
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical and technical skills required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (training on-site) and operate overhead cranes
