What the Waste Treatment Operator will do:
- Operation of Microfiltration and Ion Exchange Wastewater systems including Pre-treat inspection, maintenance, and record-keeping
- Operation and Maintenance of Reverse Osmosis/DI Systems for water reuse and plant water supply
- Hazardous waste management operations
- Fume scrubber operations and maintenance
- Floor management maintenance and operations
- Bulk chemical loading/unloading
- Spent bath changes/chemical maintenance
- Batch treatment on spent chemistry
- Safety equipment inspections
What you need to be a Waste Treatment Operator:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of chemistry
- Work under limited supervision
- Work safely with chemicals
- Good housekeeping practices
- Organized in thought process and time management of multiple jobs tasks and priorities
