Job Description
Looking for a new daytime job near Fergus Falls, MN? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading warehouse company located in Foxhome, Minnesota. We are seeking candidates for a Warehouse Associate position on 1st shift (8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday). Compensation for this contract role is $18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do as the Warehouse Associate:
- Pull material from location to fill each order
- Pack, label and put filled orders in proper locations for delivery
- Operate gas and electric forklifts and riders
- Operate wire measuring/cutting machine, cut proper wire to proper length, mark tags with new wire amounts and fills racks when needed
- Operate pipe machine, cut pipe to proper length and depth
- Sweep and mop floors, clean and dust shelves, sort and dump trash in appropriate bins
- Use computer and/or RF scanner to check on status, availability and location of product
- Inspect trucks before delivery to ensure that they are in good working order and will pass road inspection, such as checking tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, etc.; report any vehicle problems and/or set appointments to get problems fixed
What you'll bring to the Warehouse Associate job:
- 1-3 years of experience with basic product and warehouse or delivery knowledge
- Must have great attention to detail
- Organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks
- Willingness to complete safety training on material handling and forklift driving
- Must have strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations
