Job Description

We are seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant / Transportation Coordinator role to work 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. What you will do as an Administrative Assistant / Transportation Coordinator:
What you will do as an Administrative Assistant / Transportation Coordinator:
- Maintain late truck email communications
- Communicate late delivery information and provide follow-up correspondence per department procedures
- Work closely with the appointment coordinator to alert necessary personnel of potential late trucks as identified by track and trace.
- Communicate any WM/Sam’s issues with deliveries to the WM vendor Management team
- Run Wal-Mart appointment verification daily and cross-check AS 400
- Administer late coding for late customer deliveries and track/report per period
- Provide vacation coverage for OSD position
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Willing to accept continual repetitive changes in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type 40 WPM
