Technical Manager – Production
? Forest Lake, MN
? $120,000 - $130,000 per year
Are you a skilled leader with a passion for maintenance, machine operations, and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a Technical Manager – Production to oversee our Maintenance, Machine, and Tooling Shops, ensuring all production equipment and tooling operate efficiently, safely, and at peak performance.
? What You’ll Do:✔ Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for production assets and buildings
✔ Evaluate and enhance machine and tool capabilities using Lean techniques, RCM, and ZFA
✔ Lead the installation and start-up of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and SOP regulations
✔ Oversee the manufacturing of tooling and spare parts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
✔ Manage technical documentation, maintenance logs, and software systems for equipment and machinery
✔ Supervise and mentor a team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
✔ Assist with budgeting, planning, and cost-benefit analyses
? What You Bring:✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
✅ 10+ years of leadership experience in maintenance, machine shop, and engineering teams
✅ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, CNC machines, Lean principles, ISO & HSE standards
✅ Experience with RCM, MasterCAM, SolidWorks, and project management
✅ Exceptional communication and leadership skills #metrocareers
