Technical Brewer - Day & Night Shifts
Job Description
What you’ll do as a Technical Brewer:
- Collect samples of the product for testing and quality verification
- Sanitize tanks, lines, heat exchangers, and other equipment, following all appropriate Safety and Quality procedures
- Stage the beer, especially monitoring critical temperature requirements of the process
- Monitor product appropriately throughout the process
- Maintain the cleanliness of the areas responsible for
- Responsible for letting the treatment plant know of any unusual sewage loads
- Responsible for the kegs, including washing, filling, hauling, and recording production
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customer
- Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety
- 1+ years of experience in a high-speed production environment is preferred
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
- Willingness to work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and use of production chemicals
- Willingness to work in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors
- May be required to work and direct in confined spaces and work with high-pressure steam
- Ability to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors
