Job Description

We are seeking candidates for TIG Welder roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for this temp-to-hire opportunity is $18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you’ll do as a TIG Welder:
What you’ll do as a TIG Welder:
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel and aluminum
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Set up welding machines based on the job requirements
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Grind and polish using hand tools or hand-held power tools
- Read blueprints, grind or polish products for finished products
- Select abrasives & tools according to materials used
- Assist is assembling the final product
- Sharpen tools as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Previous TIG welding experience
- Previous manufacturing experience, preferably working with metal
- Excellent attendance record
- Willingness to work in all work areas
- Comfortability and experience using basic hand tools
- Strong interest in manufacturing and growing within the company
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion, and 25 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations
