Supply Chain Manager
Job Description
What you will do as a Supply Chain Manager:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with business objectives, improving efficiency and reducing costs across the board
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste and reducing costs while ensuring an uninterrupted supply for production demands
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and oversee supplier performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards
- Manage logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials to our facility and finished goods to customers, optimizing costs and meeting customer satisfaction goals
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions to the production process
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data and analytics to optimize supply chain processes and support lean manufacturing principles
- Work closely with production, finance, quality, and sales teams to forecast demand, align supply chain strategies, and meet customer requirements
- Ensure supply chain operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
- APICS, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies
