Take the next step in your supply chain career with this job near Delano! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Loretto, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Supply Chain Assistant role to work during regular business hours. Compensation for this contract opportunity is $25.00 per hour.
What you will do as a Supply Chain Assistant:
• Determine different shipping options for imports
• Determine HTS codes and best shipping methods
• Review options for shipment consolidation
• Send RFQ's to vendors and get pricing details
• Prepare customer quotes and pricing history
• Price and source electronic components
• Obtain vendor information for customer compliance (RoHS, Conflict Materials, Reach, etc.)
What you need to become a Supply Chain Assistant:
• Previous Supply Chain or Shipping experience preferred
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
