Job Description
Looking to utilize your new degree or experience in AutoCAD? Hiring a Structural Drafter near Albert Lea, MN with a starting wage of $36/hr. This is completely on-site with the opportunity to partner with the production and project managers to create precise shop drawings that outline specifications for components for steel elements. Hours are 6am-4pm Monday- Friday with benefits! Interested?

- Create accurate and detailed drawings using 3D platform.
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and produce precise technical drawings.
- Extract information from contract documents and governing codes, and converting into a shop drawing
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to comprehend and contribute to designs with the openness to provide suggestions or feedback
- Review and revise drawings as necessary to ensure compliance with standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with the team to integrate mechanical elements within structural designs.
What we are looking for as a Structural Drafter:
- Degree in drafting or construction is highly valued
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Experience in a structural drafting role or background in construction
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to comprehend mechanical aspects to come up with new innovative ideas
- Excellent attention to detail and is able to collaborate within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
