What a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will do:
- Design and modify processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality
- Evaluate new technologies and equipment for competitive advantage
- Prepare project plans, reports, and equipment requests
- Supervise and audit production testing
- Create mechanical drawings and specs for equipment and facilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and present proposals to management and vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient in PLC programming, CAD, and process control systems
- Knowledge of electrical systems and project management
- Experience with rubber, plastic extrusion, or mixing technologies is a plus
