What a Solderer will do:
- Work from engineering drawings, bill of materials, work instructions, sample boards, and prints
- Use a variety of small hand tools such as solder irons, de-solder equipment, wire strippers, crimpers, etc.
- Maintain high quality standards and workmanship
- Surface mount through-hole parts and cables
- Visual inspection to identify good and bad solder joints and perform solder rework as needed to attain conformance
- Ability to complete a Solder test correctly
- Experience programming SMT pick & place machine a plus
- IPC-610 knowledge
- Hand solder experience under microscope
- Good work history, team player, reliable attendance, quality conscious and responsible
