What a Skilled Machine Operator will do:
- Operate complex machines, assist in production, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Follow health and safety rules and work instructions
- Manage raw materials and direct a small team
- Use forklifts, cranes, and other equipment (training provided)
- Ensure good attendance and reliability
- Strong mechanical ability
- Must be comfortable working with chemicals
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is a must
- Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical skills
- Ability to operate tools, shop equipment, and heavy machinery
- Pass a physical, drug test, and background check
- May require up to 50 hours/week during projects, including some evenings or weekends
- Must wear steel-toed shoes/boots
