We are seeking candidates for a Shipping Supervisor role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $60,000-$65,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Shipping Supervisor:
What you will do as a Shipping Supervisor:
- Supervise and train the shipping team
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of shipments
- Coordinate order fulfillment with the Warehouse Manager and other teams
- Monitor inventory to prevent shortages or overstock
- Improve shipping processes for efficiency and safety
- Maintain shipping records and resolve shipping issues
- Communicate with carriers and vendors to arrange pickups and negotiate rates
- Prepare and analyze shipping reports for improvement opportunities
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proficient in shipping software, warehouse systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Work in environments with noise, dust, heat, or cold
- Forklift certification
