What you will do as a Shipping Clerk:

- Prepare and route documents for order assembly, material receiving, and shipments
- Create bills of lading, packing lists, receiving reports, and materials lists according to company procedures or customer instructions
- Record quantities and ensure the completeness of orders
- Match shipping and receiving documents with related paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Maintain organized departmental files for easy access and reference
- Communicate with package carriers and freight agents, handling routine correspondence and inquiries
- Assist in resolving issues related to damages, losses, and delays in shipments
- Prioritize safety and quality control in all aspects of the role
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
