What you will do as a Sewing Operator:

What you will do as a Sewing Operator:
- Sew material using Industrial Sewing Machines
- Sew to production sample, follow product guides, and observe stitching to detect defects
- Inspect finished product for quality control
- Make minor machine adjustment
- Perform simple, routine machine maintenance such as changing sewing needles and adding oil
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Promote and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills required, which are normally acquired through a high school diploma/GED or previous job experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand instruction detail written and communicated in English
- Prior industrial sewing experience preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds required with or without reasonable accommodations
