Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Set-Up Operator roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $21.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as a Set-Up Operator:
What you’ll do as a Set-Up Operator:
- Perform setup and startup of thermoforming machines, ensure product quality of production run, sign off on production
- Evaluate the machine's process to ensure they are set and running correctly
- Ensure the jobs are running to the estimated run rate and index lengths
- Inspect and clean mold components
- Keep an active log into our digitalized job tracking system
- Dis-assemble and assemble tools in a safe and effective matter
- Work on continuous improvements to setup techniques and processes that could reduce time and cost
- Ensure tools are stored in an organized and safe manner
- Follow production and scrap efficiency guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret measurements of critical dimension to .001
- Knowledge and experience with power and hand tools
- Must be a team player capable of effectively communicating technical terms
- Ability to lift 50-80 pounds when needed with or without reasonable accommodations
