Job Description
Lead a team that keeps our facility safe, clean, and compliant—drive sanitation excellence in a fast-paced food production environment. Doherty is partnering with a leading food production company near Creston, IA. We are seeking candidates for a Sanitation Supervisor role on a 6pm-6am schedule. This direct hire opportunity is between $62K-$75K depending on skills and experience. Relocation assistance is provided! Interested?

- Manage plant sanitation, both interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Supervise, train, and organize sanitation staff, handling scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to USDA, GMP, and food safety regulations, assisting with audits and inspections.
- Oversee CIP and COP systems, chemical concentrations, and sanitation procedures, working with Ecolab as needed.
- Track and report key performance indicators, address sanitation issues, and communicate with management.
- Conduct safety and educational training, enforce safety policies, and actively participate in plant safety initiatives.
- Monitor and order sanitation supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform inspections, assist with audits, and handle additional duties as assigned.
Supervisor Experience:
- 2 years of proven leadership experience
- Understanding of USDA and FDA guidelines; experience with USDA is a plus.
- CIP systems, SSOP writing, and chemical usage.
- Strong focus on safety procedures and enforcement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
