What you will do as a Sanitation Lead:

What you will do as a Sanitation Lead:
- Direct staff on shift to ensure efficiency, quality, biosecurity, and safety standards are met
- Assist the Manager in prioritizing and scheduling trailer wash activities and appropriate labor allocation
- Train new employees and coach existing staff to maintain high standards
- Assist with washing and disinfecting live haul and other equipment as needed
- Report any issues with quality, processes, equipment, materials, or labor to the Manager
- Complete required documentation to meet business or regulatory requirements
- Assist the Manager in ensuring the execution of all wash functions as per SOP
- Perform light maintenance on the facility, equipment, or trailers, and report any issues to the Manager
- Communicate with the team to ensure quality, safety, biosecurity, and deadline requirements are met
- Ensure a successful bio-dri cycle on all washed trailers
- Inspect all washed trailers per SOP
- Properly panel and chip all trailers per SOP and approved transportation guidelines
- Safely drive the spotter to retrieve washed trailers from the wash bays, take them into bio-dri, and park them in the clean parking lot
- Perform and document an inspection on every trailer per guidelines before packing them in the clean trailer parking lot
- 6+ months of related experience
- Ability to read and understand the weekly transportation schedule
- Ability to provide direction to employees to keep the trailer wash functioning efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations
