Doherty is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Arden Hills, MN, and we are seeking qualified candidates for Robotic Testing Technicians on the 1st shift. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $31.00-$38.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as the Robotic Testing Technician:
- Confirm all information and testing materials, including product readiness, for the checkout team when checkout is scheduled to start.
- Navigate SolidWorks models and drawings to identify problems and clarify the build process.
- Complete a Production Concerns request when discrepancies are discovered.
- Complete an Engineering Change Request (ECR) for machine continuous improvement ideas.
- Follow build books, change orders, ECNs, and other documented requirements when checking out machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues on machines in production.
- Ensure all ECNs have been installed on the machines and the ECN log has been properly updated.
- Work with the Production Manager and Lead for final handoff of machinery from assembly to checkout.
- Perform all checkout and equipment testing functions on single machines, including formers and closers, and projects.
- A two-year Automated Packaging degree or equivalent experience.
- Automation degree or Robotic degree preferred
- Background in Automation
- Strong electrical experience
- Maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Understanding of Rockwell operating systems #metrocareers
