For more than 60 years, this company has designed and manufactured heating, flex circuits, temperature sensing, and instrumentation solutions for some of the world’s most demanding applications. They work closely with their customers to identify the best solution for their applications. This includes hundreds of off-the-shelf solutions to meet standard requirements, as well as custom solutions they create in collaboration with customer engineering teams around the world.
What a Receptionist will do:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage a multi-line telephone system, answering incoming calls, screening and forwarding calls to the appropriate individuals or departments
- Provide accurate information to callers, address inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate resources
- Schedule appointments, conference rooms, and manage meeting room calendars
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages, ensuring timely delivery to the intended recipients
- Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean, presentable, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Coordinate and manage visitor access, including issuing visitor badges, collecting and recording relevant information, and notifying employees of visitor arrivals
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and provide support as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with visitors, employees, and callers
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in operating a multi-line telephone system, handling calls professionally and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
