What a Receiving & Support Specialist will do:
- Safely unload/receive, accurately label, and locate raw material from full truckload shipments
- Physically and electronically moves all raw material received on less-than-truckload shipments
- Conduct periodic inventory cycle counts to maintain raw material inventory as directed
- Manage the location and space allocations of raw material to ensure proper consumption and ageing (FIFO)
- Make recommendations to increase space utilization for raw material inventory locations
- Manage and facilitate physical and electronic movement of raw material from inventory locations to usage in laser and turret work centers
- Prepare material for loading into machines by removing all packaging materials
- Perform general housekeeping and organization of raw material inventory inside, outside, and in storage trailer locations
- Ability to sustain a solid level (competent) or better performance by meeting goals of the department and organization
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrate high standards of personal conduct, dependability, versatility, cooperation, and communication with a positive attitude
