What You’ll Do as a Quality Technician:
- Inspect fire trucks to ensure optimal operation and compliance with standards
- Review spec books to verify that all customer expectations are met
- Capture detailed photographs of each truck's interior and exterior
- Ensure build books are accurately completed
- Assist in the test pit as necessary, fitting and finishing trucks
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions with a positive attitude
- Competency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating manuals, and technical documents
- Proficient math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) #metrocareers
