Job Description
Are you a leader in the quality department familiar with the EMS industry? Doherty is currently partnering with a leading supplier in the electronic manufacturing industry located near Milwaukee, WI. The Quality Manager will report to the VP and Regional Quality Leader. The starting salary is between $120K-$135K per year with a quarterly bonus. Interested?
Main Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:
- Executes the internal quality audit programs for the site
- Collaborates on decisions that affect the QMS and maintenance of quality and environmental certifications.
- Coordinates and conducts frequent cell-level process layered audits
- Assist to define achievable quality KPIs
- Manages and collects system data for process improvement
- Provides support and assistance to the team in identifying and resolving systemic issues and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
- Will use data and inputs from various processes and accounts to review analytics
- Effectively communicates with the Regional Quality team about trends that impact the quality processes, systems, and supplier quality operations.
- Coordinate external audits prepare the internal team including the agenda and meetings
- This person will have about six direct reports and will have them assist in customer and internal audits
- Executes the internal quality audit programs for their site
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer or Senior
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 standards
- Experience with IPC-A-610 (CIT/MIT) certification or experience
- Experience in PCBA low volume mix or PCBA NPI
- Working experience in FDA 21 CFR Part 820
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies
