What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the quality team to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS).
- Set and support strategic quality direction in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Partner with production teams to meet performance goals while ensuring product quality.
- Lead, mentor, and manage QA staff engaged in inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and lead root cause analysis for corrective/preventive actions.
- Track and analyze plant quality metrics to drive cost-effective improvements.
- Manage and oversee CAPA, NCMR, ECN, complaint handling, and document control.
- Lead internal and external audits and maintain regulatory and customer certifications (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.).
- Ensure vendor quality and manage internal calibration/testing programs.
- Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent).
- Quality engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with SMT/Through Hole circuit board assembly is required; cable/wire harness assembly is a plus.
- Working knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments and industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
- At least 3 years of experience in quality auditing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical reading skills with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
