What you will do as a Quality Lab Calibration Technician:

What you will do as a Quality Lab Calibration Technician:
- Perform daily scrap removal from the scrap racks
- Print and reconcile scrap part data
- Asset with general office and clerical support for quality-related needs
- Scan in gauging certs
- Scrap control report
- Monitor product quality and promptly report any issues or abnormalities with machines or tooling to ensure consistent production standards
- Make job boxes for new parts
- Ensure all equipment is current on calibration – APF and employee
- Replace and keep a supply of various pins on hand
- Report the month end scrap for vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- General office experience with a basic computer background
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions
- Ability to transfer metric into decimal equivalent
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #WorkNow
