Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the aerospace, medical, and military industries to hire a Quality Engineer! This is a direct-hire opportunity with a stable, growing company that values safety, innovation, and employee development.
? What You’ll Do:
- Corrective Action Coordination
- Lead internal and external corrective actions
- Audit production practices for compliance with customer and certification standards
- Maintain accurate quality records
- Operational Support
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to resolve quality and customer-related issues
- Audit & Compliance
- Assist with internal audits (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.)
- Maintain audit schedules, equipment calibration logs, and heat treat process ownership
- Customer Quality Support
- Serve as a backup contact for customer quality concerns related to inspections and returns
- Follow Company and Industry Standards
- Adhere to all ISO, AS, NADCAP, and company-specific procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent quality-focused manufacturing experience
- Strong understanding of quality systems, compliance, and record-keeping
- Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Effective communicator with strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk unassisted throughout the shift
