Quality Control Technician
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour
Shift Needed: 1st Shift (6:45 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Thursday; 6:45 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday)
Overview:
An innovative and growing manufacturer, specializing in machining, component solutions, and assembly, is partnering with Doherty Staffing on this contract-to-hire opportunity for a Quality Control Technician in Maple Grove, MN. Our advanced technologies include CNC machining, Swiss CNC, Mori Seiki Lathes, and Mills, providing high-volume precision components and complete manufacturing solutions.
Job Summary:We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to operate and maintain quality control inspection equipment, ensure equipment calibration, and inspect parts during production. This role involves rounds throughout the shop, working in the inspection room for first acceptance and quality checks before parts are shipped. You may also assist in training operators to effectively use measuring instruments for accuracy.

Quality Control Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
- Perform inspections using CMM, Optical Comparator, and standard inspection equipment.
- Conduct in-process, set-up, and final inspections.
- 5 years of experience with CMM and other inspection equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
