Job Description

If you're an experienced professional with a passion for optimizing supply chain operations and driving results, this could be your perfect fit! What You’ll Do as a Purchasing and Planning Manager
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory and production.
- Monitor demand, inventory, and production to proactively align supply.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and resolve shipping or quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules.
- Lead purchasing efforts for efficient sourcing of materials and components.
- Utilize ERP systems to automate tasks, improve reporting, and enhance supply chain visibility.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for procurement compliance.
- Develop and manage budgets, analyze supplier pricing, and negotiate cost-saving contracts.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team, ensuring effective communication and performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other relevant field
- 3 years of experience in leading supply chain for an organization in an ERP/MRP environment
- 5 years of experience in supply chain/production planning
- Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently
- Must be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement best practices.
