What you’ll do as the Purchasing Manager:
- Coordinate acquisition of goods and services
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies
- Manage key accounts and forecast demand
- Negotiate terms and reduce costs
- Implement ERP system and maintain supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to align goals
- Mitigate supply chain risks and enhance processes
What you need to be the Purchasing Manager:
- Experience in purchasing and supply chain in manufacturing
- 5+ years in materials and sourcing management
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (ECi M1 or Epicor preferred)
- APICS certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Leadership experience
