Job Description

We’re seeking candidates for Production Worker roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $19.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you will do as a Production Worker:
What you will do as a Production Worker:
- Inspect stone for quality and appearance
- Use cranes to load and unload work from the machines as needed
- Load pre-programmed profiles, patterns, or files from the network
- Index the saw blade to the correct size and dimension
- Perform operator-level calibration and alignment of the saw
- Create cutting and profile programs for all of the saws from shop tickets and network .dxf files using AutoCAD
- Operate, maintain, and program wire saws
- Create and edit cut programs in AutoCAD and other CNC programs
- Pour cement floors
- Tape and caulk joints on assembled buildings
- Mix and apply carborundum strips following the appropriate steps
- Remove stains from stone with the correct chemical application
- Load, set, operate, and safely unload the polish machine with an overhead or jib crane
- Check finish with gloss meter to ensure production standards are met
- General knowledge of software used to program CNC, milling, and/or turning machines, i.e. 3D modeling, CAD, and/or CAM software
- Excellent good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to calculate material needs to meet job requirements
- Knowledge of job-specific stone colors, characteristics, quality, and appearance criteria to meet job requirements
- Must have good color perception and not be color blind or deficient
- Must be mechanically inclined #WorkNow
