Now Hiring: Production Training SpecialistAre you passionate about developing training programs and helping employees excel in their roles? We are seeking a Production Training Specialist to support our clients manufacturing operations by designing and delivering comprehensive training programs.
About the Role:In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop on-the-job training materials, including checklists and instructional content for assembly operations, quality procedures, lean manufacturing principles, and computer applications. You will be instrumental in ensuring team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop on-the-job training checklists and materials for assembly operations, including cable assemblies, soldering, PCB assemblies, and surface mount technology machines.
  • Create training content for assembly-support processes, such as Bills of Materials, production travelers, and standard operating procedures.
  • Design instructional materials for computer applications, including ERP systems and production tracking tools.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to employees.
  • Partner with the Quality Department to facilitate quality procedures training.
  • Assist with developing and delivering Lean Manufacturing Principles training.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and key metrics analysis.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and provide relevant training.
  • Support management with insights on training barriers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform hands-on assembly operations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret production prints and work instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and recommending solutions.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • PCB soldering experience and knowledge of soldering best practices is highly preferred.
