What you will do as a Production Team Lead:
- Coordinate department activities within a production area to ensure department and company production is met in a timely manner
- Maintain tracking of daily KPIs and communicate progress to the team
- Support autonomous maintenance through the use of CID and CL standards
- Ensure all required departmental checks are performed
- Ensure machine operator hand-off sheets are fully completed
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and Investigations including Safety Incidents, Production Downtime, Food Safety/Quality, and Food Waste issues
- Provide feedback for the creation of work procedures as they pertain to Safety, Quality, and Productivity
- Complete daily production records and reports
- Ensure the correct inventory of supplies is present for the required jobs to be performed
- Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
What you need to be a Production Team Lead:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of previous manufacturing-related experience, preferably in food production
- Knowledge of pneumatics, PLC, Servos, HVAC systems and general maintenance
- Proven ability to read, write and communicate in the English language
- Strong data entry and math skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
