Job Description
Are you a driven leader ready to inspire teams and shape success in a fast-paced production environment? Doherty is partnering with a leading production company near Emerson, NE. We are seeking candidates for a Production Supervisor role on the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) or 3rd shifts (11pm-7am). Supervisor oversees manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining compliance with food safety and company policies. What you’ll do as a Production Supervisor:
What you’ll do as a Production Supervisor:
- Ensure top-quality production while minimizing costs and adhering to good manufacturing practices.
- Cooperate with all departments regarding updates and hand-offs between shifts
- Responsible for product usage
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records (i.e. timecards, downtime records, absentee records, etc.)
- Enforce company policies in a fair and consistent manner
- Encourage suggestions from employees that will improve production
- Conduct regular communication and lead monthly department meetings.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in the food industry
- Experience managing a diverse, multicultural department.
- Skilled in delivering clear and effective communication to groups, customers, vendors, and employees
- Proficient in math operations, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
- Ability to speak and read in English
