What a Production Supervisor will do:
What a Production Supervisor will do:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure production and quality targets are met wile fostering a Lean/Continuous improvement culture
- Define, develop, and analyze data and metrics to implement operational changes
- Manage the production floor, including shop order management, scheduling, inventory management, quality, and maintenance
- Monitor productivity and collaborate with peers and management to ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Conduct meetings, coach employees, and align them with business, team, and individual goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain beneficial changes
- Participate in projects and complete assigned actions to support business goals
- Collaborate on long-range capacity planning to support the business plan
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience of informal leadership experience
- Leadership skills to effectively manage all listed activities and duties
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an ERP system
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to interact diplomatically
- Ability to coach, teach, and resolve problems using effective conflict-resolution strategies
- Proven ability to apply fundamental production and operations principles and practices
