We’re seeking candidates for Production Planner roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for this contract opportunity is $20.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Production Planner:

What you will do as a Production Planner:
- Assist the scheduler in bringing seed to the plant in a timely and coordinated fashion
- Assist customers in making decisions on packaging instructions
- Plan the workflow paperwork to package product for one or more customers
- Utilize a planning software to manage workflow
- Communicate with customers via email or phone calls in addition to the scheduling procedure
- Review and proof production bagging reports daily
- Review and document chemical usage from production
- Annually update processing functions and criteria
- Annually review processes, looking for more ways to utilize the program
- Manage chemical inventory and ordering, including the return of empty containers
- Look for process improvement opportunities, working with primary processing manager and operations manager for review and implementation of approved processes
- Knowledge of general computer operations, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent email and phone communication skills
- Good math skills for calculating formulas
- Ability to communicate with multiple teams to maintain good workflow
- Ability to operate a forklift and maintain operator certificate
- Able to frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of frequently lifting or reaching overhead, squatting/kneeling, pushing/pulling, and stand for entirety of shift
