We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for the role of Production Lead on the 1st shift. What you'll do as the Production Lead:
- Lead and manage department operations, including training, evaluating, and reviewing personnel.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment; report and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with established policies, safety regulations, and procedures.
- Oversee production, safety, and housekeeping within the department.
- Meet and exceed production and quality standards, while providing updates on job and production status.
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to meet production build plans.
- Document, record, and organize data accurately.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational goals.
- Review production paperwork to verify accuracy and timeliness of customer orders.
- Monitor product quality and participate in quality audits.
What you'll bring to the Production Lead role:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing products, equipment, and processes.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and moderate noise levels.
- Must wear provided safety glasses and other PPE at all times. #WoodburyJobs
