We are seeking candidates for Process Operator roles. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity is $18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Process Operator:
What you will do as a Process Operator:
- Ensure that process is operated in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
- Communicate regularly with all operators, both individually and as a group to ensure consistent operation among the shifts
- Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals for process operations
- Work with plant DCS & PLC control systems
- Work with milling, conveying, and fermentation processing equipment
- Communicate directly with QA lab to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures for the plant processing equipment
- Sample and test process streams as required by the QA program and procedures
- Field monitor equipment and help troubleshoot plant operation issues
- 2-year degree from a Technical/Vocational school; or 3+ years of related work experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively with computerized maintenance management system
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
