What you will do as the Printing Press Operator:
- Receive job orders from the supervisor
- Obtain and run correct printing plates
- Set up proper positioning for job and ink coverage
- Run samples and obtain approval from the supervisor
- Run job maintaining proper positioning and ink coverage quality
- Fill and monitor ink and dampening systems
- Unload the press delivery skid from the press
- Wash up the inking system
- Conduct major lubrication process on press daily
- Maintain documentation of press runs
What you need to be a Printing Press Operator:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy material up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
