What you will do as a Press Operator:
- Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety-oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines
- Ensure all business system transactions (production, inventory, etc.) are accurate and timely
- Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently in order to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements
- Support the company’s key corporate values, objectives, and strategies
- Crosstrain in as many functions in the department as possible
- Understand and verify manufacturing orders to identify internal and customer specifications
- Conduct all processes and procedures in accordance with the department's key measures
- Ensure all quality practices are being followed accurately and efficiently
- Keep the work area clean and orderly using the 5S system (standardize, sustain, sort, set in order, and shine)
- Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfaction
What you need to be a Press Operator:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience is helpful
- Basic computer knowledge and math skills
